Teryx sliders

Has anyone made their own sliders, nerf bars or what ever you want to call them? It seems the ones sold commercially are way over priced and most of what I've seen stick out too far.

Have never made any but I am sure they would not be that hard to make. I have noticed they are high dollar on the net. Might see about coming up with a design and how they would look.

I just need to get off my butt and make something, I was wondering if anybody had made their own, looking for some ideas. I'm thinking something nice and tight to rocker panel would be the best. Part of it is how to mount them, I really don't want to weld or drill the frame, thinking of someway to make brackets to clamp them, It may not be possible, I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

Clamping them probably wont hold up. I am not sure what others are using to mount them but I would bet they are bolted on.
